About 1951 Truck Parts

1951 brought a revised dash and instrument cluster to the Advance Design Chevy and GMC trucks partway through the year, which matters when you are ordering dash panels - check which version your truck has before you buy.

Otherwise the cab is unchanged, so our firewalls, floor sections, bed panels, billet hardware, hidden fuel fillers and power window kits all fit. Ford F1 through F4 parts cover cab sheet metal, billet hardware and RainGear hidden wiper systems.

Chevy sold the 1951 Advance Design as the 3100 half-ton, 3600 three-quarter-ton and 3800 one-ton, plus Panel, Suburban and Canopy Express bodies, all with the 216 Thriftmaster six. During 1951 the doors gained vent windows, so check which doors your truck has before ordering door parts. The Chevy 3100 guide covers the whole 1947-55 run year by year, and the VIN decoder confirms the year when the title and the truck disagree. Also see 1950 Chevy truck parts and 1952 Chevy truck parts.
