These fill pieces replace the small factory trim fillers on the split windshield of a 1947–1953 Chevy or GMC pickup. It is all in the small details, and if yours are missing this is the piece that finishes off the windshield trim.

Installation
Loosen the trim screws on the center divide strip and slide each piece in behind the interior trim piece.

How do I know it fits my truck?
This part is listed for 1947–1953 Chevy and GMC 3100, 3600 and 3800. The full year, make and model list is in the Truck Compatibility tab on this page. If your truck has been modified, or you are between two of the year ranges we list, send us the year, make and model and we will confirm the fit before you order rather than after.
How long before it ships?
It is a stock item and generally ships within 1-3 business days. Carrier transit time is on top of that, and larger orders can arrive in more than one box on different days.
What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back. Return shipping is at your cost, and we ask that returns come by Canada Post. Made-to-order, sale and clearance items are final sale. The full terms are on our returns page.
Can I install this myself?
It is designed for an at-home install. Read the fitment notes and the Installation tab on this page before you start for anything that needs drilling, trimming or welding, and where an installation guide or video exists for the part it is linked there.

From the catalog photo it appeared these looked to be stainless, or possibly chromed. Arrived and appear to be plain steel. I have a custom cab, with all stainless / chrome interior trim pieces. This will look a little out of place in the cab. I’ll be attempting to polish these up in hopes they blend a little better with the cab trim.
