These universal wheel tubs create space in the bed for wider wheels and tires. They are formed from 16 gauge steel, sold as a pair in a 3" or 5" width, and take minimal work to prepare for paint.

Installation
There is no single way to fit these. They can be welded, riveted or bonded in, and they carry laser etched markings so you can drill and bolt them in instead.
The optional hardware is (18) M8 x 1.25 x 16mm stainless steel button head screws with lock nuts. Full steps are in our wheel tub installation instructions.

Does the panel arrive finished, or does it need work?
It ships bare, ready for you to fit and then prep and paint, coat or cover however suits the build.
Can I bolt it in instead of welding?
It depends on the panel. Several go in more than one way - laid over the existing panel, butt welded, screwed, riveted or bonded - and the Features list and installation notes on this page say what this one is set up for.
How much fitting should I expect?
Test fit before anything is welded or drilled. Fifty years of body work, previous repairs and factory tolerance mean no two cabs or beds are identical, so expect some final fitting to your own truck.
How do I know it fits my truck?
This part is listed for 1947–2006 Chevy, GMC and Ford 3100, 3600, 3800, Blazer, Bronco, C10 and others. The full year, make and model list is in the Truck Compatibility tab on this page. If your truck has been modified, or you are between two of the year ranges we list, send us the year, make and model and we will confirm the fit before you order rather than after.
How long before it ships?
It is a stock item and generally ships within 1-3 business days. Carrier transit time is on top of that, and larger orders can arrive in more than one box on different days.
What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back. Return shipping is at your cost, and we ask that returns come by Canada Post. Made-to-order, sale and clearance items are final sale. The full terms are on our returns page.
