This gas filler delete is formed to fit where the gas filler neck sits on a 1947–1954 Chevrolet or GMC truck. It welds in to shave the filler hole in the passenger side of the cab, which is what you want if you are relocating the filler.

Does it bolt in or weld in?
It welds in. The panel is laser cut from 16 gauge steel and cut or formed to the factory filler opening, so you skip templating, cutting and forming a patch of your own.
How do I know it fits my truck?
This part is listed for 1947–1954 Chevy and GMC 3100, 3600, 3800 and Suburban. The full year, make and model list is in the Truck Compatibility tab on this page. How long before it ships?
It is a stock item and generally ships within 1-3 business days. Carrier transit time is on top of that, and larger orders can arrive in more than one box on different days.
What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back. Return shipping is at your cost, and we ask that returns come by Canada Post. Made-to-order, sale and clearance items are final sale. The full terms are on our returns page.
Can I install this myself?
It is designed for an at-home install. Read the fitment notes and the Installation tab on this page before you start for anything that needs drilling, trimming or welding, and where an installation guide or video exists for the part it is linked there.
