Description
This optional lock bag adds locking to a push-button style Altman Easy Latch on 1952–1966 Chevrolet and GMC trucks. It supplies the locking tab the latch needs in order to work with power lock actuators, so a shaved or stock door can actually lock.
How it works
The lock tabs mount beneath the outer release lever on the latch. With the tab up, the exterior handle is blocked and the door is locked. With the tab down, the latch operates normally and the door opens.

Fitment notes
For push-button style Altman Easy Latch systems on 1952–1966 trucks, and intended to be added to an existing Altman Easy Latch installation. It is designed to be used with power lock actuators, which are not included.

Installation
The lock tabs attach to the latch assembly underneath the outer release lever, and instructions are included to set them up and check operation.
Power lock actuators are not in the bag — have those on hand before you start.

What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to return it by mail. Return shipping is on you, and the part needs to come back uninstalled and unmodified - once a panel has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back. Made-to-order items are final sale. The full terms are on our returns page.
Can I install this myself?
It is designed for a home install with ordinary hand tools, and the fitment notes on this page list anything that needs drilling, trimming or welding. Where an installation guide or video exists for the part it is linked in the Installation tab.
