1973-87 Squarebody Truck Sheet Metal Panels

Squarebody sheet metal splits into two jobs: covering what the factory left rough, and deleting what a clean build does not want. On the covering side, the bead rolled firewall for 73-87 hides the original stampings and the heater box opening, inner fender fillers close the gap the factory never finished, and the aluminum dash insert for 73-80 replaces the woodgrain applique that has curled on every one of these trucks.

On the delete side there are two gas filler deletes — 73-78 and 79-87, because the filler moved — plus the door handle and lock delete for a shaved door and the stake pocket delete for 67-87 beds. Stone shields and stone guards protect the leading edge of the bed and the rockers from what the front tires throw at them, and the hood braces for 73-80 stiffen a hood that flexes at speed.
