The bed is where the two biggest jobs on a 47-54 usually happen: getting the tires under it, and getting the fuel filler out of the cab. Wheel tubs and radius bed corners handle the first. The fuel filler charger / kill switch port and the polished stainless and billet filler necks handle the second, so the tank moves out of the cab and the fill point ends up somewhere you actually want to look at.

Beyond that, this is the hardware that makes a wood bed work like a truck bed again — billet tailgate trunnions for 47-53, tailgate chain covers, and rear frame boxing plates for 47-53 frames that are going to see more power than they were built for. If the bed is coming up rather than the tailgate coming down, the universal tilt bed scissor hinges and the electric tilt bed lifts are both here, in stainless and in billet aluminum.
