Description
Slosh Tubz Extreme | Frame-Laying Fiberglass Inner Fenders for 1973–1987 Chevy Trucks
Built for the truck that goes all the way down. The Slosh Tubz Extreme are engineered for frame-laying 1973–1987 Chevy Square Body trucks — and now extend fitment to select 1988–1991 Blazers, Suburbans, and 1-ton trucks. If your build is built to lay frame, these are the Tubz built for you.
Built for the Extreme Drop
While our Mild Tubz are designed for static and mild air bag applications, the Slosh Tubz Extreme exist for one purpose — maximum drop. These are the inner fenders for the builds that don't stop until the frame hits the ground.
Two-Piece Mold Construction
The Slosh Tubz Extreme are produced using a two-piece mold process, which allows for the aggressive shape and clearance required for frame-laying applications. Here's what to know about the construction:
- ✅ A small flange lip around the mold seam edge is present and will require minimal bodywork
- ✅ This area is completely hidden once installed — nobody will ever see it on a finished build
- ✅ The result is a clean, finished appearance with the extreme clearance your build demands
Premium Fiberglass Quality
Built from the same heavy duty fiberglass used across our entire Tubz lineup — smooth, strong, and needing very little prep work before paint.

Common questions
Does the panel arrive finished, or does it need work?
It ships bare, ready for you to fit and then prep and paint, coat or cover however suits the build.
Can I bolt it in instead of welding?
It depends on the panel. Several go in more than one way - laid over the existing panel, butt welded, screwed, riveted or bonded - and the Features list and installation notes on this page say what this one is set up for.
How much fitting should I expect?
Test fit before anything is welded or drilled. Fifty years of body work, previous repairs and factory tolerance mean no two cabs or beds are identical, so expect some final fitting to your own truck.
How do I know it fits my truck?
This part is listed for 1973–1987 Chevy and GMC. The full year, make and model list is in the Truck Compatibility tab on this page. If your truck has been modified, or you are between two of the year ranges we list, send us the year, make and model and we will confirm the fit before you order rather than after.
What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back. Return shipping is at your cost, and we ask that returns come by Canada Post. Made-to-order, sale and clearance items are final sale. The full terms are on our returns page.
