Designed Around Your Factory Components
No hacking your A/C system. No rerouting factory components. The passenger side tub is specifically molded to clear all factory air conditioning right out of the box — because a good inner fender should work with your truck, not against it.
Bolt-In Installation — Just Like the Originals
These Tubz install using the same mounting locations as your factory inner fenders. A small amount of trimming to the inner fender brace is required, but everything you need to get it done right is included:

Battery Relocation — What You Need to Know
- 1973–1980 models: The factory battery tray will need the downward support trimmed to clear the Tubz and raised approximately 1 inch — simply redrill the holes 1 inch higher and add nutserts to the new holes
- 1981–1987 models: If you want to keep your battery under the hood, you'll need to add our battery relocation bracket — available in both driver and passenger side configurations. It replicates the factory 73–80 battery positioning for a clean, familiar look

Built from the same heavy duty fiberglass used across our entire Tubz lineup — smooth, strong, and needing very little prep work before paint.
Please note: These Tubz are shipped and handled multiple times before delivery. Minor imperfections such as small scratches or chips can occasionally occur in transit. You are still receiving one of the nicest fiberglass products available anywhere.

Does the panel arrive finished, or does it need work?
It ships bare, ready for you to fit and then prep and paint, coat or cover however suits the build.
Can I bolt it in instead of welding?
It depends on the panel. Several go in more than one way - laid over the existing panel, butt welded, screwed, riveted or bonded - and the Features list and installation notes on this page say what this one is set up for.
How much fitting should I expect?
Test fit before anything is welded or drilled. Fifty years of body work, previous repairs and factory tolerance mean no two cabs or beds are identical, so expect some final fitting to your own truck.
How do I know it fits my truck?

What if it is not right for the truck?
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. The part needs to come back new, uninstalled and in its original packaging - once a part has been trimmed or welded it cannot go back.
