Tailgate Latch Kit – 67-72 C10 GMC Chevy Truck
This replaces the factory tailgate latch mechanism on your 1967-1972 Chevy / GMC pickup with more modern latches for smoother and easier operation. The kit comes with everything you need! Some trimming is required on the tailgate itself. You will also need to drill a hole in the tailgate jamb to install the provided rivnut, and lastly a hole in the bedside jamb for the striker mount. A template is provided for the trimming, the brackets mount to existing holes and will located the additional holes needed. Overall, this is a very simple install!
